Terms and Conditions

Cancellations & Missed Lessons

I understand that family life can be unpredictable and occasionally lessons need to be changed. If you need to cancel a lesson, please provide at least 24 hours' notice wherever possible.

Lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled or a make-up lesson offered, subject to availability. Up to two student-initiated make-up lessons may be offered per school term.

Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, will generally be charged at the full lesson rate and are not eligible for a make-up lesson or credit. Exceptions may be considered for genuine emergencies or exceptional circumstances.

Please do not attend an in-person lesson if the student is unwell or potentially contagious. Where appropriate, an online lesson may be offered instead.

If I need to cancel a lesson, I will arrange a make-up lesson at a mutually suitable time or provide a full lesson credit/refund.

Students arriving late will receive the remainder of their scheduled lesson, as lessons cannot normally be extended into the following student's time.

Lesson Fees & Payment

Tuition fees are charged on a per-term basis and are payable in advance of the first lesson of each school term. An invoice will be sent via email approximately two weeks before the start of term.

For new students joining mid-term, fees for the remaining weeks of the term are payable before the first scheduled lesson.

Payment can be made via bank transfer (details provided on the invoice). Please use the student's full name as the payment reference to ensure your payment is correctly allocated.

Late payments may result in the suspension of lessons until the account is brought up to date. Prompt payment is greatly appreciated as it helps with scheduling and administrative planning.

Lesson rates are reviewed annually, typically at the start of the academic year. Any changes to fees will be communicated to all students and parents with at least one term's notice.
